This Privacy Policy (the “Privacy Policy”) sets out our commitment to protecting the privacy of users of the website https://www.tweent.com/ (the “Site”) operated by Mr. AHMED ABDELWAKIL AHMED.

The Privacy Policy and the Site’s Terms and Conditions of Sale together form a contractual whole. Any capitalized terms not defined in this Privacy Policy have the meanings given to them in the Terms and Conditions of Sale.

In providing access to our Site, we process your personal data in compliance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of 27 April 2016 (the “GDPR”) and as described below.

“Personal data” means any information relating to an identified or identifiable natural person. We collect and process personal data solely for the purpose of providing our Services or communicating about those Services, strictly in accordance with the GDPR.

We collect only personal data that is adequate, relevant, and limited to what is necessary in relation to the purposes for which it is processed. You will never be asked to provide “sensitive” personal data such as your racial or ethnic origin, political, philosophical or religious opinions.

By registering on the Site, you authorize us to process your personal data in accordance with this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree with the terms of this Privacy Policy, please refrain from using the Site and the Services.

1. When do we collect your personal data and what data is collected?

We may collect and store your personal data in the following situations:

  • Browsing the Site;

  • Creating an account, paying online, placing an order, subscribing to a newsletter;

  • Contacting us (customer service).

We use your personal data to enable the implementation and management of the Site’s Services and to respond to your specific requests. We also use your personal data to operate and improve our Services, our Site, and our approach. This information is used solely by us and helps us better tailor our Services to your expectations.

If, when creating your Account, you chose to receive emails and messages from us, you will receive electronic and alphanumeric messages about our products and promotions. We will then use the personal data you provided at registration. You may unsubscribe from these messages at any time.

1.1 Browsing the Site

Connection data. Each time you connect to our Site, we collect personal data such as your IP address and your computer’s MAC address, the date and time of connection, and information about the browser you use.

Browsing data. We also collect information identifying how you access the Site, which pages you view, and for how long. In this context, we may use cookies.

1.2 Creating an Account

Access to certain Services may require creating an Account. In that case, you will be asked to provide certain personal data when creating your Account, including your first and last name, postal address, email address, and phone number.

1.3 Payment

Some Services may be paid. You agree that we may use external service providers who may collect personal data to ensure proper operation of credit card or other payment processing services and, where applicable, the delivery of products or services.

To complete your purchase, you must provide your billing details and your payment details, including your credit card number, expiration date, security code, and the cardholder’s name for card payments.

You may also be asked to provide your telecom operator’s name, your mobile phone model, and a valid mobile number so we can send purchase instructions directly to your mobile phone.

We keep records of your payments and the purchases you make. Transaction details are stored either in our systems or by the external provider. This storage is for internal purposes, including accounting, compliance, and legal purposes in accordance with Section 5 of this Privacy Policy.

1.4 Subscribing to our Newsletter

When creating your Account, you may give prior consent to receive our newsletters about news, new products, services, and promotions related to the Services.

You may also consent directly to receiving our newsletters by entering your email address in the relevant fields on the Site.

In all cases, you have the right to withdraw your consent to such newsletters at any time and at no cost.

To respond to requests you make to our Customer Service and to confirm information about you, we may use your first name, last name, email address, and phone number.

2. How do we protect your personal data?

We have implemented technical and organizational security measures to ensure the security, integrity, and confidentiality of all your personal data and to prevent it from being altered, damaged, or accessed by unauthorized third parties. We ensure an appropriate level of security, taking into account the state of the art, implementation costs, and the nature, scope, context, and purposes of processing as well as the risks and their likelihood.

However, since no security measure is infallible, we cannot guarantee absolute security for your personal data.

You are also responsible for keeping the password that gives you access to your Account confidential. Do not share this information with anyone. If you share your computer, remember to log out before leaving a Service.

3. When do we share your personal data?

3.1 Sharing your personal data with third-party companies

While browsing the Site, your personal data may be transmitted to external providers. These third parties provide services on our behalf and in our name to enable proper processing of credit card payments and other Services.

Personal data may be transferred to countries outside the European Union for the purpose of fulfilling your order.

Unless a third party asks you to accept its own privacy policy and terms of use, third-party companies receiving your personal data have committed to processing your personal data solely for the implementation of our Services.

We will never share your personal data with third-party companies for marketing and/or commercial purposes without your prior consent.

3.2 Sharing with authorities

We may be required to disclose your personal data to administrative or judicial authorities where disclosure is necessary to identify, apprehend, or prosecute any individual likely to harm our rights, any other user, or a third party. We may also be legally required to disclose your personal data and, in such cases, cannot object.

4. How long do we keep your personal data?

We retain your personal data for 5 years. This period allows us time to process your order and handle return or refund requests beyond the statutory legal conformity warranty period.

The legal basis for processing is the user’s consent or the performance of the sales contract.

5. Cookies: how do we use them?

5.1 What is a cookie?

A cookie is a text file that may be placed on a device when using a browser to view an online service. For its validity period, a cookie enables its issuer to recognize the device each time it accesses digital content containing cookies from the same issuer.

In any event, cookies placed on your browser with your consent are deleted 13 months after being placed on your device.

5.2 What are the cookies used on our Site for?

Internet Explorer / Edge

6. What are your rights?

You alone provided us with the data we hold, via the Site. You have rights over your personal data. In accordance with data protection regulations, in particular Articles 15 to 22 of the GDPR, and upon proof of identity, you have the right to request access to your personal data, and the rectification or erasure of such data.

Within the limits set by law, you also have the right to object to processing, to restrict it, to decide the fate of your data after death, to withdraw your consent at any time, and to the portability of personal data you have provided.

7. Can we modify the Privacy Policy?

We reserve the right to modify this Privacy Policy at any time. You are therefore advised to consult it regularly. In the event of changes, we will publish them on this page and wherever else we deem appropriate depending on the nature and significance of the changes made.

Your use of the Site after any modification signifies that you accept those changes. If you do not accept certain material changes to this Privacy Policy, you must stop using the Site.
